A highly respected medical doctor and clinical psychologist, educated in Iran and the United States, Dr. Mohsen Mohamadi has emerged as a leader and mentor in neurofeedback and psychotherapy. His knowledge, interest and experience in pain management, trauma, ADHD and psychotherapy has helped countless clients in both countries. Having researched and published many studies on the topic of pain, he is also an award-winning author. He presented his research at the prestigious International Association for the Study of Pain in Vienna and received the award for the best scientific translated book in Iran, The Study of Pain. Despite the academic accolades, it is in service to individual families where Dr. Mohamadi has found his passion and utilized his gift. He completed his medical training and residency in psychiatry from Shiraz University where he graduated with honors. He then returned to his hometown near the border with Iraq during the Iraq-Iran war to serve families affected by the on-going war. He would treat more than 60,000 people, including children, adults and soldiers during those nine years. He later moved his family, teaching and practice to Tehran, before settling in his new home in Los Angeles, California where he persued his second doctorate in clinical psychology. Dr. Mohamadi has excelled in the practice of neurofeedback as a new way to treat people suffering from chronic pain, attention deficit disorders, autism, depression, anxiety, brain injuries, addiction and post-traumatic stress disorder. Practicing this modality for more than a decade, he now mentors other clinicians in this growing field.
